A Columbia man charged with shooting a man during a Thursday evening dispute over money is jailed without bond this (Friday) morning and will make his initial arraignment at 1 pm via video.
Boone County prosecutors have charged 38-year-old Perry Dean Bradshaw with first degree assault and armed criminal action.
Columbia Police say the adult male victim was shot at about 7:15 last night and suffered serious injuries. The Columbia Police Department’s two-page probable cause statement says Bradshaw asked the victim “where’s my money” several times before shooting him multiple times from five feet away. Court documents say Bradshaw fled from the scene and was arrested later. Bradshaw has also allegedly failed to appear on multiple felony cases.
Neighbors tell KMIZ that they heard two people arguing before they heard three “pops”.
