Columbia Police have captured an 18-year-old shots fired suspect, following a standoff at the Columbia Square apartments on Claudell lane.

CPD is seeking first degree assault and armed criminal action charges against 18-year-old Dontay Williams for his alleged involvement in a shots fired incident that happened early Sunday morning in the 1700 block of Paris road. Williams is currently jailed without bond. Columbia Police describe their investigation as ongoing, and they encourage anyone with information on Sunday’s incident to call Columbia Crimestoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
